Each year the state of Utah holds auctions to benefit wildlife conservation throughout the state.  Through these auctions the Utah Conservation Group raises money to conserve species before they become federally threatened or endangered. 

These auctions have become highly anticipated events throughout the intermountain west because of the quality of animals available.  A tag obtained through one of these auctions allows a hunter access to any public land in the state.  Areas that are reserved for special draws would be at the hunter's disposal and you can imagine the quality animals available in these highly controlled areas.  In fact, the potential at harvesting a record book trophy is very real.  They are here. 

Here at Christensen Arms and Christensen Outdoors we recognize the opportunity of making an impact on the state conservation efforts and actively particpate in these auctions each year.  In the past we've found hunters who, although they would like a chance to bid on these exclusive tags, are unable to attend.  In these cases a Pro Staff member would act in your stead. 

Here at Christensen Outdoors we encourage all hunters to take steps toward conservation.  By securing a hunt through the Utah Conservation Group's auctions, a hunter will be doing their part to conserve wildlife, have an opportunity to harvest a trophy animal, and even be able to tax deduct the money used to secure the bid.
