The other day, over a steaming bowl of roadhouse chili, a friend and I were talking about animals we saw no point in hunting. Our views differed on some and at times, the debate turned somewhat nasty. Anyway, with a stomach full of beans and the aroma in the air beginning to change, I thought it would be fun to turn some of these thoughts into a list of hunts that "Give Me Gas".
Hunt #1: Camel
Hunt #2: Chukars (Unless I have a cat, which I don't)
Hunt #3: Whitetail (from a blind, near a road covered
with food)
Hunt #4: Water Buffalo (I know they can be ferocious but they look like me grandpa's Holsteins on steroids)
Hunt #5: Hogs (I'll grab some Bar-S at the store)
Hunt #6: Sasquatch (Those Jack _link_s boys are nuts!)
Hunt #7: High Fenced Rabbit
I understand that you may take offense to some of this or simply have your own list. So let's hear it...

Hey that was pretty funny. I agree with some of your hunts, especially the high fenced rabbit. Let the critters roam free!
A list of hunts that "Give Me Gas" would have to include any antlerless hunt. Also on some of the hunting shows I've seen on TV, they have these south Texas hunts where they go after African game. I realize it might be a budget issue for some. But it's worth the extra money saved to book an authentic African Safari. Being guided by native Africans, taking big game out on the savannah, and enjoying African cuisine is truly the only way to hunt African animals. Set Texas aside for whitetails.

Don't eat the beans boys don't eat the beans.. I would have to say hunt it all... You know I just returned from Australia and I must say it was one of the funnest hunts I have been on. The Outfitter has been begging us to come over there for the past three years and finally this year we went. I am glad we did. Troy boy, myself and one other co-worker went with us and we had a riot. We shot Water buffalo, bang Teng, wild hogs and a few other creatures and I tell you it was great. To me it is not only the animals you are hunting but the new country you are seeing the new poeple you meet. It's about the advetures boys and if sitting around a table blue darting is part of your adveture Hillacious then heck yea tear it up. Being half way around the world down under and taking baths in croodile infested rivers was a hell of adventure and I try to make all of my hunts that way. Happy hunting boys and lay off the beans!!

Do you know what gives me gas? Michael Vick's dogfighting. While I don't condone this it's not the actual dogfighting that's got me popp'n out the "silent but deadlies". What's giving me the gas is how people are comparing what he's done to hunting. Are you s@*tting me! When lunatics use this as an excuse to mount a defense against a father and son heading out into the field in lawful pursuit of any game animal, well boys... you either better find me a cork, or clear the room because things are going to get ugly. Seriously though, holding a dog's head under water and drowning it or wrapping a rope around it's neck to hang it is not the same as fair chase, game management type pursuit. Give me a break...no, better yet give me a little Gas Ex.

Doogins good call. Uncork it on that one. I saw a thing on the news as well. Of course a lady from peta had to bring deer hunting into the comparison of Dog fighting. Get a clue Peta and the rest of the media that would even entertain this idea.There is not one similarity except that something dies in the end. Why not just compare it to slaughtering cattle at a feed lot. Get real people.. The Falcons are going to tank this season and that just leaves more room for my Chargers to clean house... Bottom line Peta and people like Peta give me gas..

Heres one for you guys to get all worked up over. I just got back from an Archery hunt in the Eastern Sierra's of California. Their i was, minding my own damn business sneaking on this nice buck. When the local #@!$ Rock licking granola eating PETA Members decided to protest hunting. These jack asses were driving in the mountains with blow horns and air horns. Making a hell of a noise and scaring every damn animal in the country to hell and back. Needless to say i didnt get my deer and three of my four days hunting were spent listening to these bastards do this crap. And any one want to guess what fish and game did nothing. So if you want to know what gives me gas its this infact more then gas it gives me an ulser.
