Hunting in November and December is one of the best times to be in the hills because many of the doe's are in heat and the bucks are going nuts.   As they focus in on doe's there's a much better chance that one will make a mistake.  Bucks make mistakes by becoming less wary and will spend more time in the open with the doe's.  This gives you a much better chance of seeing them and possibly getting close.

Knowing this, we at Christensen Outdoors realize what a great opportunity this can be.  We've teamed up with the top outfitter in Southeastern Colorado with access to prime riverbottoms and rich, crop land property.  In 2007 this outfitter was again near 100% on true trophy class buck including several near the magical 200" mark.  This was not an unusual year for them as they have taken top awards in the Best of Species category in the Colorado Outfitters Association for many years.
