Montana has some of the largest contiguous private tracks of land in the western U.S. and this 220 square mile ranch is no exception, boundaries sometimes stretch as far as the eye can see. This is not your typical ranch, with just portions of it are big game habitat. On this ranch, the entire boundary is mule deer country. In the lower part of the ranch you have several miles of river bottom with thousands of acres of irrigated alfalfa. This irrigated part of the ranch has hundreds of deer and is very easy to hunt. When you work your way into the foot hills you will find plenty of cover and hidey holes, that make you wonder just how may bucks never get seen on the ranch. In 2008, Christensen Arms president, John Mogal harvested a great 180+ buck. (pictured above) For the 2009 season the outfitter will only take two 1x1 hunters at a time, or two groups of 2x1 hunters, to help maximize trophy potential. Lodging is great with an 8 bedroom lodge built specifically for hunters. In 2007 the largest buck killed in Montana was taken from here, scoring over 230 B&C points. (Click here to view). All hunters must apply by March 15th but are guaranteed to receive a tag through the outfitter sponsor program. Book now as these hunts wont last long!
