Leading up to my hunt in Africa I knew that I had the unique opportunity to hunt the biggest of the Big 5.  Knowing that there are very few who get this chance (especially women), I wanted to make the most of this experience...
 

Obviously the most important piece of equipment on this hunt would be my rifle.  It didn't take long for me to decide that my Christensen Arms 375 H&H Mag would be the weapon for me in harvesting this king of beasts.

I ended up carrying the rifle for over seven hours as we tracked the lion through the sweltering African terrain.  Because my Christensen Arms was so light, my mind was able to stay focused on the hunt and not on the weight of my rifle.     

For those of you who watched the Christensen Outdoors episode that featured my hunt you already know that those seven hours of stalking came to an end with a one shot kill.  I just wanted to say thank you to you guys for producing a rifle that was so light weight and accurate. 

There's no question that this rifle will be by my side for many hunts to come.
