I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Christensen Arms. I am very pleased with my gun chambered in 7mmSTW in a Sako TRG-S action. I could have purchased several other lightweight rifles; however, those guns have conventional steel barrels that really heat up with the big magnum rounds. The zero thermal coefficient was a big draw for me and I couldn't be happier.
This gun is tack driver and my hand loads push a 154 grain Hornady Interbond at 3,477 f.p.s. The gun is shooting inside a 10 inch circle out to 430 yards. I took a caribou in Alaska at 388 yards and this gun really made this shot easy. Plus, the light weight helps when you’re walking around on the tundra. I also took one whitetail this year in Missouri with a single shot just like the caribou.
