I ordered my Christensen Arms Custom 300 Win Mag and when I received the gun this summer I was impressed.  It was lighter than I imagined and even more comfortable to shoot.  With the instant success I have experienced, I had to write and tell you about it...

 

I took the gun out immediately to the gun range to get used to the feel as well as to check accuracy.  Long story short was that I was keeping groups of 2.5 inches at 400 and 500 yards.

Having fired 45 total rounds through my new gun I went to Montana on a Whitetail hunt.  I remember feeling a bit uneasy about taking it into the field as any hunter is with new equipement. 

 But my 46th shot would calm my nerves.  With luck on my side and a great guide, I took this giant 14 point Whitetail with 1 shot at 300 yards.  It was the greatest hunting experience of my life.
