Thank you for making a rifle that a woman can use to hunt dangerous game with... I had the opportunity to take an SCI gold medal water buffalo, several camels, and other animals on the hunt using the .300 RUM. The performance of the rifle was spectacular and most of my kills were with one shot.

Hello, my name is Sonja Garness. I am 19 years old and live in Anchorage, Alaska. In August, I traveled with my father to hunt in Australia with Robert Tritten of R&R Outfitter. Robert Tritten owns a Christensen Arms .300 Remington Ultramag with a carbon barrel. He said that he had used the rifle to take numerous big buffalo and he was extremely impressed with it.
I had the opportunity to take an SCI gold medal water buffalo, several camels, and other animals on the hunt using the .300 RUM. The performance of the rifle was spectacular and most of my kills were with one shot. I was concerned that the recoil would be an issue....given that I only weight 118 pounds, but much to my surprise, the recoil was very managable. It is comforting to know that the rifle is powerful enough to get the job done without beating you up in the process. Attached is several photos from my trip....It was the adventure of a lifetime.
