The guy at Ultimate Firearms only suggest Triple 7 pellets for my gun and I have no complaints. I have a buddy that swears by that Jim Shockey powder also. I think it is American Powder. I do not think it comes in pellets.

AJ what bullet are using in your Ultimate. I have a muzzle laoder rut hunt for elk here in Utah and I have an Ultimate firearms with our barrel and stock( They sell quit a few of their rifles set up with our stuff on it)on it. The rifle is light(2.5 lbs lighter) and to be honest with you, with the Sims recoil pad on it, it doesn't kick that bad. Nosler sent me some bullets to try but I was just wondering what your experience was with bullets in that muzzle loader...

I use his Fury 275 grain bullet. I do not deviate at all from what he tells me to do. I only know what I know but I have no complaints. The gun is awesome. I will say the lighter weight has my attention because I cannot imagine taking mine out west. It is a beast!

I have had excellent results with pyrodex triple 7 ffg. loose powder and it cleans up quickly and doesn't stink
