Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have worked up a good load for the 300 ultra. During my break in of the barrel ive been shooting factory remington ammo and have been getting some cratering on the primer and the cases have been swelling about four thousands. I know thats not to bad but was wondering if thats normal or not. also iam starting to develop a load right now with the 180 grain core lockt. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try some reloader 25 with nosler accubonds. This is a great combo in my 300 Ultra.

I shot my new rifle last week and had a similar experience with load pressure. I shot Federal Premium 165 grains to break in the barrel, all cases showed signs of excessive pressure. I just preped the cases to reload and found the primer pockets to all be oversized. Is this normal with a new match grade barrel? Can anyone provide load data to start from?

Factory barrel required 93 grains to achieve 3280 FPS

Very pleased with the results
